The foster home in Netanya takes care of children from infancy until the end of high school. The children are split into groups based on age and gender. Each group has three bnot sherut, who are with the children throughout the year. On Shabbatot, holidays and vacation periods, there is a rotation between the bnot sherut. The bnot sherut wake the children up in the morning, send them to school, welcome them when they return home from school, complete homework with them, and organize activities for them in the afternoons. Bnot sherut are with them for all three meals and put them to sleep at night. The foster home also a group for children who sleep in their parents’ homes at night but spend the time after school until 7pm at the foster home.
