The communications project is for nine children with communication difficulties who are integrated in mainstream education. The children come for a shared therapy day including occupational therapy, speech therapy, play therapy and therapy by movement or drama. The bat sherut works 8:00-12:30 in the ganim on rotation and helps with the integration of the child within the gan. From 16:00-18:00 the bat sherut visits the childrens' homes and plays with them in order to bring the therapy into the house. On Thursday, the therapy day, the bat sherut works from 8:00-15:30. She is responsible for videoing the therapy, general organisational tasks and active learning within the therapies. She is an important part of the team. The bat sherut should be someone who loves working with children, takes the prerogative, can be very flexible and is creative. Needs good interpersonal skills and ability to be a part of a team, as well as to work alone in various frameworks.
