At Yad Vashem, the job of the bat sherut includes traveling to schools all over Israel and teaching students in grades 5-11 about the Holocaust, in addition to teaching at the museum itself. The staff is diverse and very professional and the year as a bat sherut is interesting. The hours are usually 8-4, but sometimes if the school is far away you have to leave very early in the morning.
