Moriah Banot is a Torani elementary school in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. The students are divided into three buildings: girls, boys and ganim, and first through eighth grades. Each building has one bat sherut. The students in the school come from religious (Torani) homes.
The job of the bat sherut is divided into two:
1. Educational: tutoring, providing assistance to students who are struggling in various subjects, participation in the classroom.
2. Social: planning activities for the holidays and various events, forming meaningful relationships with students.
Work hours are 8 AM-4 PM Sundays through Thursdays, no Fridays. The bat sherut works with the mechanchot, teachers and the rakezet chevratit.
