MATI- The Jerusalem business development center was established to help entrepreneurs wishing to start or expand businesses in Jerusalem. The MATI team is composed of advisors and professional economists. These advisors help entrepreneurs assess the economic feasibility of opening or expanding a business . If the idea seems good, the consultants help entrepreneurs prepare a detailed business plan, and if necessary, recommend loans to fund the project. The job is intended for bnot sherut who live at home. There are two positions in the organization:
1) The counseling department- this division provides information and training courses for entrepreneurs who want to start businesses. The bat sherut is responsible for all included in the organization, operation and execution of the course: contacting the developers, providing information, the attendance list, advertising the courses to the public…
2) The Olim (new immigrants) department- the department provides information and guidance courses for olim and returning citizens who want to start businesses in Israel. The bat sherut guides the olim throughout the entire process of opening a business in Israel...explains to them their rights, recommends organizations...working with the Misrad HaKlitah (immigration bureau), Nefesh B’Nefesh, etc.
