The Optical Center in Jerusalem provides glasses and hearing aids to children and adults who have trouble seeing and hearing. This includes those that are visually impaired, disabled, victims of terror, soldiers and bnot sherut. The job entails providing explaining about existing products, helping disabled children choose glasses, working in schools to check children’s vision, working with the elderly from age 60 and up, work in the optical laboratory, and training in usage of hearing aid accessories and contact lenses. Our bnot sherut also receive compensation for food (up to 40 shekel everyday), attend trips, shabbatonim and may receive scholarships if they excel in their work. Hours of Work: 09:00-18:00
