Aspaklaria is a Jewish Theater in Jerusalem under the direction of Haggai Lober. It was established in 1999 with the aim of performing plays and acts with scenes that have Jewish values. Jewish values are rarely expressed in contemporary israeli culture and the Aspaklaria Theater is trying to fill this void. Aspaklaria is considered to be the pioneer of religious theaters in Israel. Lober’s plays, in Israel and abroad, have won great success and have had an overwhelmingly enthusiastic response. The bat sherut’s role depends on her desires and her creativity and “rosh gadol”. The work includes office work, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries about plays and coordination with schools, organizing shows with the public and actors. She will also be trained in the sound system of the theater and the backup sound system.
